“I believe that the unity of mind and body is an objective reality. They are not just parts somehow related to each other, but an inseparable whole while functioning.
A brain without a body could not think…”

Tres Hofmeister and the Feldenkrais Method®
My name is Tres Hofmeister and I practice the Feldenkrais Method here in Boulder, Colorado. My professional training was under the late Dennis Leri. I've been engaged in ongoing study and practice of the Method since the completion of my formal training in 2009.
My personal interests include a longtime practice of aikidō, and the Feldenkrais Method as a way of inquiry into the nature of perception, action, and understanding in human life. As a practitioner, I'm deeply interested in how we improve our ability and continue with, or return to, the activities important to us.
If you are interested in the Feldenkrais Method, trying a lesson is a wonderful way to learn more about it for yourself. I currently offer Awareness Through Movement® group lessons with other area practitioners on Sunday mornings in Boulder. I'm also available for private Functional Integration® lessons. Please contact me to schedule private lessons, or if you have questions about the Method or my practice—I look forward to hearing from you.
